Darci Gutierrez - Founder and Broker
Darci has been working in the Insurance Industry since 1997, where she began with inside Sales and Administration. Licensed Agent since 2002, she then began Darci Gutierrez Insurance Services, specializing in Individual and Family Plans as well as Employer Group Plans for under 50 employees.
Darci is currently licensed in over half a dozen states with a primary focus in California. She has also been certified with CoveredCA since the passing of ACA.
Darci is a California Native, specifically a Bay Area native. When she is not working, she enjoys relaxing with family and friends whenever possible. She also looks forward to escaping on day trips to soak in the beautiful outdoors our Bay Area and Central Coast has to offer.
Joe Gutierrez - Broker Partner
With 24+ years in Mortgage Banking, Joe comes to us with endless customer service management and experience. Joe consistently maintains the same "white glove" level of service that DGIS is known for.
After supporting Darci for over 20 years and learning through absorption, in 2023 Joe decided to become licensed and join DGIS as a Broker Partner. Joe is currently licensed in California.
Joe holds a pivotal role in the Open Enrollment and renewal process, as well as day to day office administration.
Originally from Texas, he's called California home for over 30 years. When Joe isnt tied to his desk, he can be found managing our Bark Office Support team anytime they come to HQ. He finds the team works (and listens) better outside and finds himself on multiple yard trips a day.
